On July 18th, 2016 Evonik Summer Camp Opening Ceremony co-organized by Evonik and SPA was held in the conference room on the second floor of the Chemical Comprehensive Training Building of SPA. Thirty–five outstanding employees from Evonik Greater China gathered here to participate in the two-week Evonik Summer Camp for chemical operators.
Evonik Summer Training Camp is a long-term cooperation project between SPA and Evonik. It is the ninth session this year. The leaders of SPA and Evonik both attach great importance to summer camp. They strive to arrange everything well, from working out the training programs to the set-up of training projects, from training sites to teachers and logistics support.
At nine o'clock, the opening ceremony officially started. Lin Guoxin, the Party secretary of SPA, Dr. Claas Klasen , president of Evonik Asia Pacific North, Dr. Chen Jinqiu, general manager of Evonik Degussa Speciality Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., LTD., Zhang Hong, business partner of Human Resources HP business partner, Huang Hanjun, vice principal of SPA, and 35 trainees attended the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Yao Yan, HR Manager of Evonik. She introduced the training schedule of this summer camp to the leaders and trainees so that everyone has a general idea of the training process.
Lin Guoxin delivered a welcome speech on behalf of SPA. He expressed his warmest welcome to the leaders of Evonik and all the trainees of summer camp and sincerest thanks to Evonik's constant support for SPA's development. The success of the first eight summer camps proves that school-enterprise cooperation training is multi-win. The trainees can further improve their abilities through training while the teachers can learn the front-line practical experience from the trainees. As the old saying goes, teaching is learning! He encouraged the trainees to study hard in the 2-week training, to improve their theoretical knowledge and operation skills, and to apply what will be learnt to their work after the training. He also hoped that the trainees can give more valuable suggestions so that the school can improve and optimize the training programs.
Dr. Claas Klasen first extended his sincere gratitude to all the trainees and SPA on behalf of Evonik Greater China. He also introduced Evonik's recent development to all the trainees present. Dr. Claas Klasen pointed out that talent is the invaluable asset of the enterprise and the improvement of employees' quality is the key to the development of the enterprise, so everyone should treasure every opportunity to improve his abilities and morality.
Dr. Chen Jinqiu, general manager of Evonik Degussa Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., LTD. gave a brief introduction of Evonik MUSC. Then he expressed his sincerest thanks to SPA for delivering about 300 outstanding employees to Evonik Shanghai MUSC base. He also introduced the direction of the development of the company and key investment projects in the near future. He emphasized that talents are the most important wealth of the company. The development of the company is inseparable from the development of employees. He said that the company attaches great importance to staff training. He hoped that the students can make full use of this opportunity to improve themselves and make greater contribution to the development of the company. Although the trainees are from different factories, Dr. Chen expected that they could communicate more and learn from each other to make progress together.
Wang Zhengqi, the director of Chemical Engineering Department of SPA , gave the trainees a detailed introduction to the school's chemical training programs and training facilities. He hoped that they could learn something useful during the summer training camp.
Finally, all the conventioneers took photos together and they all expected that 2016 Evonik Greater China Chemical Operator Summer Training Camp would be a great success.
