At 15:20 on November 3, 2016, the award ceremony for the “2016 Yanfeng Visteon Scholarship” was held in the lecture hall of SPA. Xu Qingyou, deputy secretary of the Party Affairs Department and Party secretary of Yanfeng Visteon Investment Co., Ltd., Jiang Kai, manager of Human Resources Department, Lu Yonghong, director of the Party Affairs Office, Hong Qingzhang, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee, some party members and activists from the Management Department attended the ceremony. Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of SPA, Wang Genfa, director of the Electromechanical Department, Tang Lianxi, director of the Enrollment and Employment Office, Gu Jianping, deputy director of the Electromechanical Department, students and teachers of the Electromechanical Department also attended the award ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Hong Qingzhang.
Xu Qingyou said it was the second time that he had come to SPA. He talked about China's manufacturing 2025, Chinese dream and Industry 4.0, etc. He mentioned that smart manufacturing has begun to practice in Yanfeng Visteon. He encourages the students with dreams to study hard and contribute to China's development.
Yanfeng Visteon has been cooperating with SPA since 2010 and has given great support and care to the development of the school. Secretary Lin Guoxin express his heartfelt thanks to the company on behalf of the students. Such an award ceremony gave students a great incentive. Li Jiayi, a student from 131 Electromechanical Technology Class 3, and Jin Dongxu, a student from 141 CNC Class 1, gave speeches on behalf of the award-winning students. They both know well about Yanfeng Visteon, from the products to the development of the company, corporate culture, and public welfare, etc. Jin Dongxu combined Yanfeng Visteon's company spirit Deeds Accord with Words, Advocate First-class with SPA’s school motto Learned, Virtuous, Skilled, Devoted. He firmly believed that to become a talent with ethics, ideals, skills and innovation is what young students should pursue. Li Jiayi said that young men must be ready to learn and challenge the limit and exceed themselves. He hopes that Yanfeng Visteon will further cooperate with SPA to pursue excellence and create the future together.
