Principal Gao Ju Visits CEPSA (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

On the morning of April 18th, 2017, principal Gao Ju and Shao Zhe, director of Chemical Engineering Department of SPA and their entourage paid a visit to CEPSA (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. They were warmly welcomed by Salvador, general manager of CEPSA, Shirley Deng, personnel manager, Sarah and Felice, personnel specialists of the company. The two sides exchanged views on their respective development and school-enterprise cooperation.

Salvador introduced the development of CEPSA. It has been in the market for more than 80 years. With its strong flexibility and market adaptability, it has become a benchmark enterprise in chemical industry in Spain. CCS (CEPSA Shanghai Co., Ltd.) was established in September 2011. As a young company in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, with its advanced management methods and technology, it has become a vigorous force in the park. He mentioned that for CEPSA, talents are the core of enterprise development. CEPSA attaches great importance to the cultivation of talents and always commits to developing a perfect training system for employees. He said that he is very pleased that SPA can deliver excellent talents for CEPSA.

During the talk, Gao Ju recalled cooperation history of SPA and CEPSA. After that, he gave a detailed introduction about the current development of SPA, school-running features and their school-enterprise cooperation. Gao Ju mentioned that as one of the first batch of National Model Schools of Education Reform and Development in Secondary Vocational Schools, SPA attaches great importance to the close cooperation between schools and enterprises. SPA is committed to training qualified application-oriented talents for enterprises, and constructing educational and teaching models in line with international vocational and technical education. SPA has gradually formed a variety of mature talent training models such as “Order-oriented Cultivation”, “Work-Study Combination” and “Post Practice”, etc. At the same time, Gao Ju also introduced the development of international teaching models of the school. SPA is actively exploring the localization of the German “dual system” professional talent training model. SPA is trying to promote the AHK international vocational education training certificate in the three core departments of the school. Many well-known companies such as BASF, Covestro and Evonik have also participated in the school’s development and implementation of international teaching standards, and they have played an active role in promoting AHK certificate.

Afterwards, the two sides exchanged feedback on the work of SPA’ s graduates in CEPSA. Ms. Shirley Deng mentioned that there are currently 17 employees in CEPSA from SPA's 101 Bayer CEPSA Class. They perform very well in their respective positions. They work hard, be pleased to learn, and some of them even participated in the construction of the factory. They have become qualified employees of CEPSA. CESPA is pleased to maintain a good relationship with SPA and deepen mutual communication and understanding.

At last, Gao Ju and his entourage visited the offices and production workshops of CEPSA and communicated with the employees of the company.
