In order to further strengthen the connection between SPA and enterprises and understand the needs of enterprise, on April 20, 2017, principal Gao Ju and Shao Zhe, director of Chemical Engineering Department of SPA and some other leaders and teachers of SPA paid a visit to Secco (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. They were warmly welcomed by Ren Jiahua, director of Human Resources of SECCO, Sun Wei, deputy director of Human Resources, Sun Yanan, director of Human Resources Allocation and Recruitment, and Yang Jinsong, director of Learning and Staff Development.
Ren Jiahua received the visitors warmly. He said that communication between schools and enterprises is very necessary. He then invited Gao Ju to introduce the current overall development of SPA. Gao Ju made a detailed introduction from the school's major setting, education and teaching model, pre-service and on-the-job training. He especially mentioned that as for the training model, SPA pays more attention to students’ practice in enterprises, which makes students continuously improve their professional skills and comprehensive quality. In addition, he said that SPA has always attached great importance to good communication and close cooperation with enterprises, and SPA has maintained good cooperative relations with many enterprises in the zone. SECCO has a deep cooperation foundation with SPA. Many of SECCO's current employees come from SECCO Class of SPA. The good enterprise culture and perfect training mechanism have enabled these students to grow rapidly in SECCO.
Ren Jiahua analyzed the current human resources planning of SECCO from the perspective of diversification of corporate talent needs. He also pointed out that the current high-speed development of the industry is increasingly demanding better talents, and the students' internal comprehensive quality and on-the-job training are absolutely indispensable. Gao Ju fully agreed with what Ren had said. Finally, Gao Ju made a detailed interpretation about SPA’s school-running direction and future plans and they also exchanged views on further cooperation between the two sides.
