After elaborate preparations and arrangements, on May 5, 2017, the Opening Ceremony of the 1st Young Core Teachers' Skills Upgrading Class was held in the meeting room of the Chemical Engineering Training Building in south campus of SPA as planned. Guo Yang, director of Shanghai Institute of Vocational & Technical Education, Ping Ying, director of Party Committee of Jinshan Education Bureau, Gao Ju, principal of SPA, Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of SPA, administrative leaders of SPA, branch Party secretaries and young core teacher representatives, attended the opening ceremony.
Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of SPA, made a mobilization speech at the beginning. He extended his thanks to Party Committee of Jinshan Education Bureau and Shanghai Institute of Vocational & Technical Education of Shanghai Academy of Educational Sciences for their support. He introduced the Skills Upgrading Class briefly. The training will last 10 months. 31 young core teachers will take the training. Lin Guoxin hoped that all the young teachers will be motivated to study harder and make new contributions to the development of SPA.
Gao Ju, principal of SPA, hoped that young teachers should focus on cultivating their noble morality, make new breakthroughs, and bear more responsibilities. They should be strict with themselves and keep strong sense of loyalty, service, gratitude, coherence and so on in their minds.
Guo Yang, director of Shanghai Institute of Vocational & Technical Education, affirmed the series of achievements SPA had made in the process of constructing National Model Unit. He encouraged young teachers to have sense of responsibility and honor, to continue to set good examples to others, and to demonstrate leading roles in their work and life. Through the training, he hoped that the theoretical and comprehensive qualities of the teachers will be promoted, their sight will be widened, which will lay a solid foundation for their future development.
Ping Ying said that youth is the future of the development of the school, so SPA should create a cooperative and competitive environment for the young cadres to stand out and explore the construction of young cadres' growth mechanism. The colorful and meaningful training will provide a platform for all the teachers to improve their morality and talent, which also creates an opportunity to broaden their sight and promote communication. She hoped that everyone will make full use of the platform, cherish the study opportunity, focus on cultivation of morality, including occupational ethics, social ethics, family virtue and personal morality, and make more contributions to the development of SPA.
Zhong Yachen, class teacher of the training, vowed to strengthen inner motives, reinforce morality of Party members, cultivate strategic thought, and improve ability of solving problems and innovation during the training on behalf of all the core young teachers present. They are committed to making greater contributions and breakthroughs in the future.
