On June 6, 2017, Ren Yibo, group vice president of Pulcra Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Huang Feiyi, corporate communication manager & MD assistant, Gan Yongxiu, HR & administration assistant manager, visited SPA. Gao Ju expressed warm welcome to the visitors of Pulcra Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and made a comprehensive introduction and explanation of such aspects as history of SPA, major setting & improvement, faculty, enrollment & employment rate and so on. Gao Ju highlighted that SPA has always paid great attention to maintaining good interaction and close cooperation with enterprises. For example, SPA has cooperated well with many companies in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park & Jinshan Industrial Zone and had long-term partnership with them. As a pioneer of educational reform, SPA lays more emphasis on the improvement of expertise & overall quality. Under such a mode of talent cultivation, SPA provides qualified employees for enterprises by setting a section of practice in different stages. Meanwhile, Gao Ju also introduced the current situation of AHK localization project. Benefiting from the new mode of joint talent cultivation by SPA and enterprises together, students can get career awareness earlier and learn corporate culture more comprehensively. At the same time, span for pre-service can be shortened and students' recognition for enterprises can be improved. Ren Yibo expressed his thanks for the warm reception and he gave a brief introduction to the development of Pulcra Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. He mentioned that as a German-funded enterprise, it attaches great importance to school-enterprise cooperation. Currently, there are 16 employees of Pulcra Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. who graduated from SPA and they have worked hard on their own posts in Pulcra Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Meanwhile, Pulcra Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has set up student grants to give financial aid to 20 students of SPA this year. He hoped for future communication and more cooperation based on mutual understanding and trust to achieve win-win outcomes.
At last, both sides discussed the details of pre-service and post-service training and the establishment of Pulcra Class, etc.
