On the morning of December 27, 2017, the Second Pulcra Chemicals Students Grants Awarding Ceremony was held in south campus of SPA. Ren Yibo, group vice president and managing director of Pulcra Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Gao Ju, principal of SPA, Sun Shuguang, chairman of Labour Union of SPA, attended the awarding ceremony, which was hosted by Jiang Fangping, deputy director of General Administration Office of SPA.
At the Awarding Ceremony, Sun Shuguang announced the list of students. Ren Yibo presented the grants to the student representatives. Xi Shengjie, student representative from 160 Chemical Engineering Class, gave a speech, expressing his gratitude to SPA and Pulcra Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. He called on all the students to study hard, to learn more knowledge and to live up to the expectations of the enterprise. Ren Yibo introduced the Pulcra Chemicals and their initial intention of setting the Pulcra Chemicals Students Grants. He encouraged the students to be more diligent, to keep fit, and to strive for their beautiful future with strong physique and excellent morality.
Gao Ju expressed his thanks to Pulcra Chemicals for the kindness of donating money for education. Gao Ju introduced the features of SPA to the guests present. Finally, he expressed his hope that all the students who are financially aided will study harder, learn more skills, become more confident and stronger, spread care, and repay the society with their excellent conducts.
This year, Pulcra Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. donated 12,000 RMB to students grants, from which 20 students benefited, 600 RMB each.
