our school has consequently developed fruitful cooperation with more than 30 enterprises in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park since our school signed a cooperation agreement with Bayer located in SCIP. Up to now, our school has trained over 5,000 excellent graduates for SCIP cumulatively.
On July 13, 2005, SCIP established special awards for our school — Shanghai Chemical Industry Vocational Education Award, which is awarded to the outstanding staff who have made new contributions to teaching, education and scientific research, etc. and to the students who are excellent in both morality and study. This has become a permanent, distinctive and meaningful award with the highest bounties that have benefited more people than ever since the foundation of our school.
On November 28, 2005, the People's Government of Jinshan District and the Management Committee of SCIP held the Signing Ceremony of School Education & Training Cooperation. SCIP invested 9,000,000 RMB, which was totally used to purchase equipment for Shanghai Chemical Technology Vocational Education Open Training Center in our school.
On January 25, 2007, our school held the Inauguration Ceremony of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Training Base. Mr. Li Yuyi, the former Secretary of the CPC Jinshan District Committee, and Mr. Ruan Yanhua, the former Director of the Management Committee of SCIP, unveiled the plaque of the training base together.
In October, 2010, the Party branch of Shanghai Chemical Industry Development Co., Ltd. and the Party branch of our school signed a Pairing Agreement. Up to now, they have sponsored lots of our students.
