Our school has cooperated with Covestro (the original Bayer Company) since 2002. Both sides have continuously developed a series of cooperation projects and established a win-win platform for the school-enterprise cooperation. They have carried out multi-level and all-round cooperation and made great achievements by means of setting up training centers inside and outside our school, cultivating order-oriented personnel and mutually training more qualified professional teachers, etc.
On June 28, 2002, our school and Bayer (Greater China) Co., Ltd. signed an education cooperation agreement on jointly running the school in the next ten years and held the Unveiling Ceremony of the Bayer (China) Training Center.
On September 14, 2003, then German President, Mr. Johannes Rau, had a talk with students from the first Bayer Class of our school for nearly 45 minutes in Radisson Plaza Xing Guo Hotel Shanghai.
On February 20, 2004, our school and Bayer (Greater China) Co., Ltd. held the Inauguration Ceremony of Bayer (China) Training Center. Mr. Wang Ronghua, then Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Dr. Oels, then Chairman of Bayer (Germany) Co. Ltd. in charge of Asia-Pacific business, unveiled the plaque together.
On September 23, 2008, our school and Bayer (Greater China) Co., Ltd. signed an agreement on Bayer Cup Students' Vocational Skills Competition & Bayer Cup Vocational Education Teachers' Awards. They also held the Signing Ceremony of Bayer Cup Students' Vocational Skills Competition and Awarding Ceremony of the First Bayer Cup Students' Vocational Skills Competition. So far, more than ten Covestro Vocational Skills Competitions have been held.
On November 3, 2010, our school and Bayer (Greater China) Co., Ltd. signed another education cooperation agreement on jointly running the school in the next following ten years. In 2022 another ten-year cooperation framework was inked. Since 2016, Covestro has set up Covestro Class in our school consecutively.
On June 28, 2002, our school and Bayer (Greater China) Co., Ltd. hold the Signing Ceremony of Jointly Running the School and the Unveiling Ceremony of Bayer (China) Training Center.

Since 2008, our school holds Covestro Cup (Bayer Cup) Students' Vocational Skills Competitions every year.
