In order to give full play to the leading role of demonstration and guidance of Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base and accelerate the localization and implementation of national chemical school dual system module, SPA and Chengdu Chemical School signed Shanghai Petrochemical Academy Supporting Chengdu Chemical School in Constructing AHK Sino-German (Chengdu) Chemical Vocational Training Center Cooperation Agreement on the morning of June 15, 2018. Previously, SPA signed cooperation agreement with Pinghu Vocational Secondary School. Han Hongtao, deputy director of Pengzhou Education Bureau, Chen Liwei, deputy director of AHK Vocational Education, and leaders of both schools attended the signing ceremony.
At the signing ceremony, Gao Ju, principal of SPA, delivered a speech on behalf of SPA and AHK Sino-German Chemical Training Base. Gao Ju said that SPA has been successfully developing with distinctive international features in the past sixteen years and has made continuous achievements in introducing German Vocational Qualification in recent years. He added that SPA will provide guidance and technique for Chengdu Chemical School in the construction of training center to accelerate localization and implementation of chemical majors dual system. Based on German criteria, SPA will cooperate deeply with Chengdu Chemical School in the fields of talent cultivation, curriculum reform, faculty construction, training room construction, school teaching material development and practical training teaching, etc. They will deepen international school-running concepts courageously. He hoped that all the students will study hard to be recognized internationally and he emphasized the three essential preconditions of constructing AHK Sino-German (Chengdu) Vocational Training Center: the determination of school administrative leaders, the hard work of all the teachers, and the confidence of all the students.
Chen Liwei, deputy director of AHK Vocational Education, warmly welcomed Chengdu Chemical School joining AHK and becoming a new member of AHK. She said that the teaching and learning standards of Chengdu Chemical School Sino-German AHK Cooperation Class will be strictly set in accordance with international standards. Through further school-enterprise cooperation, students will achieve German Vocational Qualification Certificate after taking exams, which means they will get entry ticket for the German local enterprises or Sino-German enterprises, so in the near future, the graduates of Chengdu Chemical School will have broader employment opportunities.
Han Hongtao, deputy director of Pengzhou Education Bureau, expressed that Pengzhou Municipal Government and Pengzhou Education Bureau have always attached great importance to the development of Pengzhou vocational education. They have invested a lot of fund in Chengdu Chemical School to improve its conditions of running the school and to enhance faculty level and education ability. Chengdu Chemical School have also made great efforts to provide employment express and education overpass for graduates. The size of school ranks top in Chengdu and the excellent results of running school has been endorsed by German AHK. He also promised that Chengdu Chemical School will cherish this chance, strengthen cooperation and boost the sustainable development of Pengzhou vocational education.
After the signing ceremony, the delegation of SPA visited the chemical training rooms of Chengdu Chemical School and put forward constructive suggestions on the construction of training rooms according to AHK certificate standards.
