From July 5 to July 11, 2018, SPA held 2018 AHK Chemical Operators Qualification Examination-AHK Chemical Operators Graduation Examination (1) Successfully in AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base. The examination comprises two parts: theory and practice. Theory examination involves three subjects —— "Processing Engineering","Measurement Technology" and "Equipment Technology". Practice examination involves "The Basic Operation of Processing Engineering & Production Technique", "Measurement Technology" and "Equipment Technology & Assembly". Among the examination questions, "Equipment Technique & Assembly" is designed by the local examination committee according to the local equipment, while the rest are all the same as those in Germany. AHK Chemical Operators Qualification Examination is an examination which is of exactly high-level German standards. SPA is the first cooperative school with German Industry and Commerce Greater China in the field of chemical technology. With the guidance and support of AHK Chemical Operators Qualification Examination, SPA and cooperative enterprises will jointly cultivate high-quality technical personnel catering to the needs of enterprises according to the German standards with localized Chinese features.
On the morning of July 5, 2018, Chen Liwei, deputy director of Vocational Training of German Industry and Commerce Greater China, Gao Ju, principal of SPA, and Huang Hanjun, vice principal of SPA, inspected the examination. During the examination, Chen Liwei expressed her satisfaction with the students' performance in the examination and she highly praised SPA's organization.
Forty-three examinees took the examination. There were altogether 30 theory and practice exams with 15 supervisors and 3 technical support personnel. German Industry and Commerce Greater China sent 19 examiners to supervise and give guidance to the 6-day examination, so all the procedures were strictly carried out according to the requirements of German Industry and Commerce Greater China.
The three practice examination questions mainly test students' abilities of analyzing problems, drawing up & implementing & coordinating plans. The practice exam lasts 7 hours, so it is a high-intensity exam for both examinees and teachers. To our great satisfaction, every examinee, supervisor, technical support personnel and examiner treated every exam seriously and attentively. Outside the examination rooms, class teachers and parents gave examinees consistent spiritual support and encouragement.
Through the examination, teachers and students find out the gap between China standards and German standards. They fully understand the emphasis of the examination and know more clearly about the theoretical and technical requirements, which help to give a clearer direction for future teaching.
