With the acceleration of AHK Mechatronics project of Electromechanical Department, the first AHK Mechatronics Chemical Class --- 171 Electromechanical Class 01--- will take the examination soon. Facing brand new teaching procedures and examination implementation, eight professional teachers from Electromechanical Department went to Guangxi Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College to take the mechatronics chemical examination implementation training.
The training was totally different from previous ones which mainly comprised experts' speeches. During the training, groups consisting of 4 teachers independently finished the procedures of preparation, implementation and assessment of 2017 AHK Mechatronics Chemical Examination. This form of training provides the teachers an opportunity of understanding all the aspects of the complete exam procedures by means of immersive and independent study and practice.
AHK Mechatronics Chemical Examination is one of the most complex and difficult one among the AHK Vocational Qualification Certification System. It tests students' comprehensive abilities in mechanical engineering, mechanical assembly, electrical control, PLC programming. Before taking the six and a half hours' official exam, students need spend 4 to 6 weeks in preparing for the exam at school. However, the teachers of this training were offered only 4 days to complete all the preparation and implementation of the exams, which was not an easy task for them.
After the first day of speech on introduction to exam procedures, eight teachers from SPA were divided into five groups and collaborated with teachers from all over China to finish the practical training. Although it was extremely hot, all the teachers showed great enthusiasm and confidence. They gave up their spare time and devoted themselves to processing assembly and circuit installation. During the training, they were strict with themselves. All the mechanical processing components were strictly manufactured to ensure the quality and technological standards. All the circuit connections and pneumatic circuits were made in line with technical norms.
After four days' efforts, they finished the task on time successfully on the morning of July 30. The program debugging showed that the procedures were normative. In the end, every group gave marks to each other to experience the ways and procedures of AHK Examination Assessment.
Through the training, the teachers independently finished the procedures of preparation, implementation and assessment of AHK Mechatronics Chemical Examination. They have first-hand knowledge of the complete procedures of AHK Examination, provide valuable experience for the following teaching and exams, know better about AHK education module to improve their teaching quality.
