On the afternoon of September 6, 2018, a delegation led by Chen Xiaobin, president of Shanghai Zhongqiao College and Luo Ning, vice president of Shanghai Zhongqiao College visited SPA. Gao Ju, principal of SPA, Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of SPA and Huang Hanjun, vice principal of SPA, received the delegation warmly.
With the company of SPA leaders, the delegation visited the campus. After that, they conducted in-depth communications in the meeting room on the first floor of Chemical Engineering Training Building.
Shanghai Zhongqiao College is the only higher vocational school in Jinshan district. Gao Ju extended warm welcome to the delegation of Shanghai Zhongqiao College. He introduced SPA's development history, current situation and school-running characteristics, adding that SPA has aimed to create itself into a Modernized Vocational Technical School which is first-class demonstration domestically and advanced integration internationally. SPA has made great achievements in running the school internationally and conducting school-enterprise cooperation, etc. At the same time, SPA is facing a wide spectrum of challenges as well. He said that SPA hopes to cooperate with Shanghai Zhongqiao College to enlarge the scale of secondary vocational education upgrading higher vocational education project (3+4 project) and secondary vocational education upgrading university education project (3+2 project) and to improve the personnel cultivation quality. At present, SPA has cooperated with Shanghai Institute of Technology and has carried out the cultivation upgrading education project in the majors of Chemical Engineering Technology. There is 1 Chemical Engineering & Technology Class and 1 Applied Chemical Technology Class in every grade of SPA for the time being.
Chen Xiaobin echoed SPA's prospectives and plans. He expressed that the cooperation of both sides will better serve the development of regional economy and cultivate technical personnel needed by enterprises.
Through negotiations and communications, both sides decided to implement secondary vocational education upgrading higher vocational education cultivation project (3+2 project) in the major of Logistics as soon as possible
