On September 27, 2018, the 4th General Election & Representative Assembly of Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan, Shanghai, was held in SPA successfully. Lu Fuguan, vice chairman of Jinshan Association for Science and Technology, and Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of SPA, were invited to attend the conference. The new candidates of council members and representatives attended the conference as well.
First of all, Lin Guoxin made a welcome speech at the conference. On behalf of SPA, he extended warm welcome to all the leaders and member representatives and gave full affirmation and support for the Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan, Shanghai.
The assembly deliberated work reports and finance reports of the 3rd Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan. New constitution, membership fee standard and management, and election method for the Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan, Shanghai, were passed. 19 council members and 1 supervisor of the 4th council were elected.
On the sidelines of the general assembly, the first conference of the 4th council of the Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan, Shanghai, was held. Leaders of the Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan, Shanghai, were chosen by secret ballot. Gao Ju, principal of SPA, was elected chairman of the Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan, Shanghai. Dai Ping, deputy minister of Jinshan United Front Work, Lu Zhenghua, deputy minister of Jinshan Joint Development Office, and Cai Wei, vice general manager of Jinshan 2nd Industry Zone Development Co., Ltd. were elected vice chairmen of the Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan, Shanghai. Members and candidates of the 5th congress of Jinshan Association for Science and Technology were elected as well. Zhang Jiemin and Zhang Hong were chosen to be advanced workers of Jinshan Association of Science and Technology system. Moreover, Guo Weiyi and Su Yong were especially employed as the honorary chairmen of the Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan, Shanghai.
Gao Ju, newly-elected chairman of the Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan, Shanghai, delivered a speech in office. He expressed appreciation and thanks to all the predecessors for their great devotion and prominent achievements. He is convinced that the society will make greater achievements with the new council members, serve the member enterprises, industries and government, study policies carefully, make technological innovation, protect the environment, and promote school-enterprise cooperation, etc. to create a better environment for the development of enterprises and industries.
At last, Lu Fuguan, vice chairman of Jinshan Association of Science and Technology, made a speech, in which he fully affirmed the work of the 3rd Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan and put forward expectations for the 4th Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan. It is hoped that they will learn to develop, elevate management level, strengthen team construction, improve the capability of service, give full play to professional advantages, and promote the development of Jinshan chemical industry.
Under the leadership of the new leading group, the Petrochemical Industry and Engineering Society of Jinshan will strive to accomplish higher goals and greater social benefits, make itself stronger and greater, and become a more credible, influential contributor.
