In order to give full play to the leading demonstration role of AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base and to boost the localization and implementation of dual model of national chemical vocational schools and colleges, SPA and Central Vocational School of Shouguang signed "Shanghai Petrochemical Academy supporting Central Vocational School of Shouguang in Constructing AHK Sino-German (Weifang, Shandong) Chemical Vocational Training Center" Cooperation Agreement on the morning of October 12, 2018. Earlier this year, SPA signed coopeation agreements with Pinghu Vocational Polytechnic School and Chengdu Petrochemical Academy. Zhang Zhencheng, member of Municipal Standing Committee and vice mayor of Shouguang City, Zhang Guofeng, director of the Economy and Informatization Bureau of Shouguang City, Ma Wanhua, deputy director of Safety Supervision Bureau of Shouguang City, Yang Yunlong, chairman of Shouguang Financial Investment Group, Chen Liwei, deputy director of Vocational Education of German Industry and Commerce Greater China, leaders of both schools, and leaders of related enterprises, attended the signing ceremony.
At the signing ceremony, Gao Ju, principal of SPA, delivered a speech on behalf of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy and AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base. Since the completion of Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base which is located in SPA, SPA has been demonstrating the leading role of the base, Gao Ju said in his remarks. SPA will actively give support and technological guidance to help construct the training center, promote the localization and implementation of chemical engineering dual model, cooperate with Central Vocational School of Shouguang in the aspects including talent cultivation model, curriculum reform, faculty construction, training room construction, school textbooks development, skill training and teaching, etc., jointly promote international construction of majors, upgrade and explore joint training model, and cultivate technical personnel with international standards for enterprises.
Chen Liwei, deputy director of Vocational Education of German Industry and Commerce Greater China, extended her congratulations to Central Vocational School of Shouguang for the signing of AHK Sino-German (Weifang, Shandong) Chemical Vocational Training Center Cooperation Agreement. She pointed out that Shouguang is the first unit that German Industry and Commerce Greater China has cooperated with in northern China, so she sincerely hoped that the cooperation will be a success to create a good example of Sino-German dual cooperation, which can benefit students in the German dual vocational education system. Meanwhile, she expected that the training center will serve not only education but also enterprise, so that employees' training can also be conducted in the center to consistently serve the development of industry.
Yang Shuren, chairman of the board of Shandong Moris Tech Co., Ltd., delivered a speech as enterprise representative. He expressed that security and environment protection are priorities for chemical enterprises. With the guarantee of AHK mechanism, enterprises can actively participate in vocational education and jointly cultivate personnel needed by enterprises, which can substantially satisfy the needs of high-quality talents for enterprises.
Zhang Zhencheng, member of Municipal Standing Committee and vice mayor of Shouguang City, extended his gratitude to AHK and AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base for their support for Shouguang vocational education on behalf of Shouguang municipal government. He also gave detailed introduction to Shouguang industrial situation, chemical industry distribution, vocational education, etc. He fully affirmed the achievements of Central Vocational School of Shouguang in promoting international school-running course and sincerely hoped that Central Vocational School of Shouguang will be integrated with Shanghai vocational education, deepen cooperation between German Industry and Commerce Greater China and SPA, and foster more technical talents for Shouguang City.
