On December 19, 2018, Mao Fajin, deputy director of Chuxiong Education Bureau, Yunnan, visited SPA. Principal Gao Ju and Party Secretary Lin Guoxin received the guests.
The guests visited Cross-enterprise Training Center, Numerical Control and Chemical Engineering training facilities, campus cultural construction, etc. Mao Fajin sang highly of SPA's hardware facilities, construction of majors and detailed management. After the visit, both sides held cordial communication on further accelerating the East-West Collaboration Project of Vocational Education, strengthening school-school cooperation and promoting bilateral vocational education development.
Gao Ju extended warm welcome to the leaders of Chuxiong Education Bureau. He introduced SPA from three aspects: SPA's fundamental situation, school-running features and sustainable future development. In the past few years, SPA has proactively answered the call of "Shanghai-Yunnan Vocational Education Alliance" to cultivate Yunnan students' professional skills and to help them set a solid foundation for their future employment. SPA expects to further deepen the cooperation with related schools in Chuxiong, Yunnan, and to promote the East-West Collaboration Project of Vocational Education.
Mao Fajin extended thanks to SPA for its care for Yunnan students studying in SPA and made an introduction to the education situation of Chuxiong. He hoped to further accelerate the cooperation with SPA and substantially improve the level of faculty and management in Chuxiong by means of teacher exchanges, backbone teacher post study, potential cadre cultivation, etc. It is also hoped that through "point-to-point" cooperation, school-school cooperation will be deepened to promote the building of majors under the great framework of vocational education alliance.
Lin Guoxin expressed that vocational education is like a big family. At the call of "Shanghai-Yunnan Vocational Education Alliance", both sides have made complementary use of resources to promote school-school cooperation and achieve win-win results. In future cooperation, both sides will adopt various cooperation models and pragmatically push for the cooperation in such areas as construction of majors, fostering cadres, co-construction of the Party and the League, etc. on the base of current policies.
The guests also visited Economy and Trade Training Building and held warm communication with Yunnan students who were having a class there. The students are expected to study harder to gain more knowledge and skills.
