On the afternoon of January 10, 2019, Jinshan District Vocational Training Enterprise Salon elaborately co-hosted by Jinshan Petrochemical Society and Vocational Training Center of SPA was held in the Multi-functional Hall at the Conference Center of SPA. The salon aims to provide a chance of communication for SPA and enterprises, which enables enterprises to know better about SPA's current situation. Through the salon, SPA can also further understand enterprise philosophy and culture, etc. to lay a solid foundation for fostering satisfactory talents for enterprises.
Distinguished representatives from 24 enterprises, such as Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd., Clariant (Shanghai) Catalyst Co., Ltd., Shanghai Precise Industry Co., Ltd., were invited to attend the salon. Joint Development Office of Jinshan District and Shanghai Xinjinshan Industrial Investment and Development Co., Ltd. gave strong support for the preparatory arrangements of the salon. At the beginning of the salon, Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of SPA, delivered a welcome speech. Next, Gao Ju, principal of SPA, gave a keynote speech on internationalized majors construction standards, which impressed the audience deeply.
Pei Xueyi, vice general manager of Shanghai BORNSUN Bioengineering Co., Ltd., Wu Lianzhong, executive vice general manager of Shanghai Qiangfeng Investment Industry Co., Ltd., Xu Xudong, manager of Maintenance Department of Clariant (Shanghai) Catalyst Co., Ltd. and Wang Bailian, HR director of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd. delivered speeches as guest representatives respectively, in which they introduced the demands and development of the enterprises and other related issues in detail.
In the communion part of the activity, the guests present discussed the cooperation and connection between SPA's talent cultivation model and enterprises' talent demand orientation to further promote the school-enterprise cooperation, achieve mutual development and harvest win-win results.
Vocational education should actively adapt to the trend of the new-round science and technology revolution and industrial transformation, deepen industry-education combination and school-enterprise cooperation, accelerate targeted vocational education reform, carry out the most suitable vocational training and improve the value of human resources. We hope for more cooperation and collaboration between school and enterprises.
