On the afternoon of Feb. 28, 2019, a 6-member delegation from Changshu Municipal Bureau of Education, accompanied by Zheng Ying, vice Party secretary of Jinshan Education Bureau, visited Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Gao Ju, principal of SPA, Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of SPA, and leaders from related departments of SPA received the delegation warmly.
First of all, the delegation visited the campus of SPA. They applauded the neat and elegant atmosphere of SPA, which they think is conducive to the learning of all the students. During the visits to Chemical Engineering and Electromechanical Training Bases, the advanced equipment and elaborate design left a deep impression on the visitors.
After the visit, both sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions. Gao Ju elaborated on SPA's fundamental situation, moral education, school-enterprise cooperation, internationalization, future development priorities to the visitors. SPA conscientiously implements "20 Articles of Vocational Education" to push vocational education development to a new height. Chen Shaodong, director of Changshu Municipal Bureau of Education, hailed SPA's pioneering spirit and extraordinary efforts in seeking development innovatively and the great advancements SPA has made in regard to international construction of specialties. He expected to continue to learn from SPA's rich experience in internationalization, foster talents conforming to international standards for enterprises and practically serve the economic development of Changshu.
Finally, both sides explored specific issues and development confrontation in the process of international construction. The meeting concluded cordially and frankly.
