In order to enhance school-running quality of vocational education and strengthen communication with Shanghai vocational schools, on April 26, 2019, a 10-member group led by Mao Fajin, deputy director of Yunnan Chuxiong Education and Sports Bureau, and leaders from various vocational schools of Chuxiong, visited SPA. Principal Gao Ju and Party Secretary Lin Guoxin warmly welcomed the guests.
With the company of SPA leaders, the group visited Yunnan class students, who were enrolled in 2017 and 2018 respectively. When seeing that the students get on well with their studies and adopt a positive outlook on life, Mao Fajin felt relieved and satisfied. He encouraged the students to grasp the golden opportunity of studying in Shanghai, learn more techniques, try to be rooted in Shanghai and help their families eliminate poverty and live a prosperous life.
The group visited Economy and Trade Training Building, Cross-enterprise Training Center, Numerical Control Training Center, Chemical Engineering Training Building , Chemical Industry & Human Science Exhibition Gallery and History Museum of SPA.
In the course of discussion, Gao Ju introduced SPA's basic situation from three aspects, namely, brief information of the school, school-running characteristics and future development prospects. Mao Fajin expressed that the group witnessed and felt the advanced school-running principles, distinctive specialties and perfect facilities during the tour. The vocational schools in Chuxiong will learn from school-running experience of Shanghai vocational education by means of strengthening specialty construction and implementing point-to-point cooperative communication.
Lin Guoxin promised that SPA will continue providing all kinds of opportunities including life, study and employment for Yunnan students. SPA will try its best to enable all of the Yunnan students to live and study well on SPA campus, graduate smoothly, design their careers and give every student hope for a brighter future.
