On the morning of May 21, 2019, a 9-member group led by Sun Shizhu, Party secretary and director of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering School at Dongying Vocational Institute, visited Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Principal Gao Ju and other related teachers received the guests warmly.
With the company of Gao Ju, the group visited Economy and Trade Training Center, History Museum, Chemical Industry and Human Science Exhibition Gallery, Cross-enterprise Training Center and three City Vocational Educational Open Training Bases. Both sides exchanged views at the meeting room on the first floor of the Chemical Engineering Training Building. Gao Ju briefed the guests on SPA's basic information of running the school. He emphasized characteristic construction like SPA's eight-in-one school-enterprise cooperative development community and AHK dual talent cultivation model with international standards. Sun Shizhu highly praised SPA's international construction of specialties and integrated school-enterprise cooperation model. He earnestly hoped to deepen the communication and cooperation with SPA, take SPA's chemical specialty construction as a benchmark, and substantially accelerate school reform and development. In the afternoon, both sides conducted in-depth and effective discussions on modular teaching reform and classroom teaching, AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base construction, 2019 National Skills Competition, and construction of experimental training conditions.
