On the afternoon of May 29, 2019, a 4-memebr group led by Gao Ju, principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, visited Covestro Integrated Site Shanghai. Dr. Chen Yun, head of Covestro Integrated Site Shanghai and other site leaders met with the visitors warmly.
First of all, on behalf of SPA, Gao Ju extended heartfelt gratitude to Covestro for their consistent support. Gao Ju introduced the latest work being carried out in SPA to the site leaders, including the acceleration of German AHK chemical technologist, dual talent cultivation and the design of related curriculum, certification standards, etc. Gao Ju especially mentioned Meister team leader and technician training, which was designed to conform to national actual circumstance and modern chemical developmental needs. Gao Ju said that Covestro (the original Bayer Company) is the first enterprise which established close cooperation with SPA. In the cooperation process of over ten years, both sides have trusted each other and achieved win-win results. Nowadays, SPA has entered a stage of further promoting dual talent cultivation module by actively exploring and establishing industry specialty clusters and introducing international standards. SPA will continue to strengthen communication and cooperation with Covestro in all aspects to form trilateral or multilateral collaboration, which will lay a solid foundation for SPA to cultivate high-quality skilled personnel. Dr. Chen Yun expressed that Covestro also hoped to implement the Meister training. They will make full preparations, perfect teaching plans and add training content like process safety to provide firm support for Meister training. Dr. Chen Yun also noted that both sides should make full use of respective advantages, co-establish joint project team, co-construct training framework, make plans and carry out training step by step.
At last, both sides exchanges views on jointly holding sports matches or games of the labor union.
