From May 30 to June 6, 2019, the "Industrial Analysis and Inspection" of 2019 National Vocational Students Skills Competition was held in Central Vocational School of Shouguang, Weifang, Shandong. 56 secondary vocational teams from various parts of China took part in the competition. Tan Fengjie from 160 Applied Chemical Engineering Class and Chen Jiamei from 170 BASF Class of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy won the group second prize with their exquisite professional skills and fine psychological qualities after four fierce competitions in three days.
National Vocational Students Skills Competition was initiated by the Ministry of Education and co-held by relevant departments, industrial organizations and local institutions, which is not only a platform for national vocational students to learn skills and demonstrate results but also a window to showcasing the level of national vocational education development.
This competition attracted 56 teams consisting of 112 contestants from 33 provinces, municipalities and cities. The competition comprised theoretical knowledge, simulation operation and practical operation, focusing on contestants' theory, practical abilities, abilities of solving problems and professional quality.
The leaders and the coaches of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy attaches great importance to the competition. With the joint efforts of various departments, new breakthrough has been achieved.
