Prior to the 98th founding of the CPC and the 70th founding of the New China, Shanghai Petrochemical Academy held the 3rd "SPA Staff Forum" on June 11, 2019 in order to strengthen ideological and political construction.
Gao Ju, deputy Party secretary of CPC of SPA and principal of SPA, delivered an enthusiastic speech. He mentioned that the 1st SPA Staff Forum, which was held in June, 2017, was aimed at strengthening staff's ideological and political construction and teachers' cohesion and showcasing positive energy. Gao Ju pointed out that strengthening teachers' morality is the new demand of the new era, which is not only of great significance to the development of the education cause of the Party and the practical implementation of the principal task of education but also of great value to the image of education in the heart of the people. Gao Ju called on all the staff of SPA to learn from the advanced examples, to proactively carry forward the fine tradition since the founding of the school 40 years ago, to make remarkable achievements at ordinary posts and to contribute to the new development of the school.
Based on the theme of "Learning from Advanced Examples & Striving to Be Daring and Responsible", six Party branches introduced the advanced deeds of library team, school history museum construction team, Yunnan students management team, students' affairs working team, Lei Zhen and Zhang Yuelian.
Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of SPA, gave high praise to the activity. Lin Guoxin expressed that the 3rd Staff Forum showed new features. It not only presented the original aspiration of Staff Forum but also exerted full play to the demonstrative and leading role of excellent staff, which has become a new strategy of reinforcing staff's ideological and political construction. During the preparation of the activity, various Party branches and departments put forward proposals on the design and presentation of the activity. In addition, theme speech, interview and poem recitation are adopted in the presentation of advanced deeds of excellent staff, which left a deep impression on the audience present.
Lin Guoxin emphasized that the school is experiencing a new stage of development at present. In order to realize its development goals, every staff of SPA needs to be practical and responsible. Lin Guoxin expected that everyone should keep striving and working hard, struggling to deal with difficulties bravely and wisely and trying to make new contributions to realize the school goal of "Domestic First-class Demonstration, International Advanced Integration", to realize the Two Centenary Goals and to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation.
