On July 5, 2019, Tang Yusong, principal of Yiyang County Vocational High School, visited Shanghai Petrochemical Academy to have communication and exchanges on ideas and measures of running vocational schools. Principal Gao Ju met with the visitors warmly.
During the communication, Gao Ju extended warm welcome to the guests on behalf of SPA. Gao Ju elaborated on the developmental course and school-running achievements of SPA, emphasizing the features of school-enterprise cooperation and specialty internationalization construction. He sincerely hoped to learn from each other to jointly enhance the development of vocational education. Tang Yusong introduced the basic information of Yiyang County Vocational High School. He especially pointed out that under the new background of transition from vocational school to secondary technical school, Yiyang County Vocational High School has responded to the call of national vocational education reform and proactively implemented the innovative strategy of jointly running the school by school and enterprise, so they urgently need to learn advanced school-running experience of vocational education at home and abroad. Both sides agreed on strengthening mutual learning and exchange, conducting pilot cooperation in AHK dual vocational education module and faculty training to realize the close cooperation and mutual development between vocational schools.
Tang Yusong and his party also visited History Museum of SPA, Cross-enterprisse Training Center and Chemical Engineering Training Building.
Yiyang County Vocational High School was founded in 1958, featuring automobile driving and maintenance, electromechanical integration, trade tourism, electronics and computers, etc. In 1996, Yiyang County Vocational High School was appraised as National Key Vocational School. In 2018, Yiyang County Vocational High School cooperated with Jiangxi AUDY Brasswork Inc. to embark on a new path of "jointly running the school by school and enterprise, deep integration of production and education". The visit of Yiyang County Vocational High School showed that SPA's influence of features of internationalization has reached the old revolutionary area of Jiangxi province, which will be surely further boosting SPA's reputation efficiently.
