At the signing ceremony, Gao Ju, Chen Liwei, Li Yancheng, Duan Hong and representatives from enterprises delivered speeches, respectively. Gao Ju, Chen Liwei and Li Yancheng signed the cooperation agreement, which symbolized the official establishment of AHK Sino-German (Dongying) Chemical Vocational Training Center.
Gao Ju shared the experience of the development of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy in his remarks, emphasizing the path of school-enterprise cooperation & production-education integration. SPA has formed characteristic dual talent training model which conforms to international occupational standards. A great number of high-quality technicians have been trained for regional economy. Since AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base was founded in SPA on Jan 26, 2018, it has played a leading role of demonstration and radiation by proactively assisting German AHK in implementing various projects in Greater China, organizing AHK chemical vocational training and certification for many chemical vocational schools and colleges, enterprises and industrial parks nationwide and providing assistance and guidance to several schools' construction of AHK Chemical Vocational Training Centers. Gao Ju expressed that AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base will firmly assist Dongying Vocational Institute in efficiently carrying out school-enterprise cooperation and introducing international qualification certificate which is in line with international standards, and finally forming a brand new school-enterprise talent cultivation model with international philosophy and standards.
Chen Liwei introduced the obligation and function of German AHK and the developmental course and current situation of German AHK in China. She extended warm congratulations on the signing of cooperation on behalf of German AHK. She sincerely expected that Dongying Vocational Institute will localize German dual vocational education theory, pragmatically build AHK Sino-German (Dongying) Chemical Vocational Training Center into a fabulous name card for Shandong province and finally help accelerate the development of economy, especially the development of chemical industry.
Li Yancheng stressed in his remarks that the signing of cooperation showed that Dongying Vocational Institute complies with the new situation of national vocational education reform, which is a critical step to further integration of production and education and practical implementation of internationalization. He expected the teachers from Petroleum and Chemical Engineering School to closely connect with AHK cooperation platform with an aim for improving professional teachers' quality, training high-quality chemical technicians and making contributions to the regional economy and social development.
Duan Hong thanked German AHK and AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base for their support and guidance. It is expected that German occupational standards, curriculum criteria, teaching resources, assessment standards will be integrated into the course of implementation of chemical specialty so that a dual talent cultivation model with international vocational education standards will be established.
The representatives from enterprises present all expressed the hope that they will grasp the new challenges and opportunities brought by the signing of Sino-German vocational education cooperation, jointly broaden and deepen school-enterprise integrated operation mechanism, create a new pattern of AHK dual talent cultivation localization and co-foster more high-quality chemical technicians with AHK standards.
After the signing ceremony, with the company of Sun Shizhu, dean of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering School of Dongying Vocational Institute, and other leaders of the school, Gao Ju and his party visited chemical practical training rooms and labs of Dongying Vocational Institute.
