School-Enterprise Deep Integration to Foster Chemical Craftsman——SPA Grandly Holds 2019 Evonik APN Chemical Operator Summer Camp Opening Ceremony

On the morning of July 22, 2019 Evonik APN Chemical Operator Summer Camp jointly organized by Shanghai Petrochemical Academy and Evonik Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd was grandly held in the meeting room of the Chemical Engineering Training Building in SPA. Cheng Danian, HRVP, APN of Evonik, Joyce Zhang, HRBP, APN of Evonik, GaoJu, principal of SPA, Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of SPA, Huang Hanjun, vice principal of SPA, all summer camp trainees and relevant teachers from Chemical Engineering Department, Skills Training Center and General Administration Office of SPA attended the opening ceremony, which was presided over by Joyce Zhang.

First of all, GaoJu delivered a welcome speech on behalf of SPA. He extended warmest welcome to 31 trainees of this summer camp and sincerest gratitude to Evonik for its constant support for and trust in SPA. Evonik APN Chemical Operator Summer Camp is a long-term cooperation project between SPA and Evonik. This year marks the 12th consecutive summer camp. During over ten years' cooperation, both sides have conducted a series of fruitful cooperation in talent cultivation, employee training, Party and League co-construction, Labor Union friendship activities, etc. Meanwhile, GaoJu expounded on SPA's overall situation, emphasizing Meister certification and specialty internationalization. He earnestly encouraged the trainees to study hard in the 2 weeks' training and communication, to learn more chemical theoretical knowledge and operational skills, and to improve comprehensive professionalism.

Cheng Danian expressed his sincere thanks to SPA for the firm support SPA has provided for Evonik APN Chemical Operator Summer Camp. He introduced the situation of Evonik in 2018 and the vision of Evonik for 2019. Cheng Danian hoped that all the trainees will treasure the platform built by Evonik and SPA, make full use of the golden chance of learning and improve their professional skills and comprehensive quality.

Yan Xiaoli, director of Chemical Engineering Department, gave a brief introduction to this summer camp from the following aspects: specialty, faculty, training conditions, cooperation with enterprises, training activities, etc. He also introduced training courses, modules and duration, highlighting that Meister certification training content will be added to this summer camp.

At the opening ceremony, trainees from different subsidiaries of Evonik introduced themselves and expressed their expectations for the summer camp. 2019 Evonik APN Chemical Operator Summer Camp will last 12 days, during which SPA and Evonik jointly design meaningful and interesting training courses for the trainees, including chemical professional modules, psychological development camp, brain gift & emotion management and EHSQ.
