On the morning of August 5, 2019 BASF Chemical Operator Summer Camp Opening Ceremony jointly organized by Shanghai Petrochemical Academy and BASF Chemicals Co., Ltd. was grandly held in the meeting room on the second floor of the Chemical Engineering Training Building. Chen Wansuo, Director of Operations of BASF Chemicals Co., Ltd., Yang Xinru, Assistant to HR Manager of BASF Chemicals Co., Ltd, Gao Ju, Principal of SPA, Huang Hanjun, Vice Principal of SPA, all summer camp trainees, and relevant teachers from Chemical Engineering Department, Training Center and General Administration Office of SPA attended the opening ceremony, which was presided over by Wang Yelin.
Gao Ju made a welcome speech on behalf of SPA. He extended warm welcome to the summer camp trainees and expressed sincere gratitude to BASF for its support and trust. BASF Chemical Operator Summer Camp is a joint project of SPA and BASF. This year marks the fourth BASF Chemical Operator Summer Camp. Since SPA and BASF jointly established the first BASF Class in 2003, both sides have achieved a series of fruitful cooperative results by means of jointly setting up BASF Classes, jointly seeking for specialty development, jointly building training base, jointly fostering teaching faculty, jointly training enterprise employees and jointly establishing dialogue mechanism in the past decade or so. In 2017, AHK, BASF and SPA reconstructed dual talent training model and expanded the connotation of cooperation. Through close cooperation with enterprises, SPA's specialty construction levels have been greatly improved in the process of accelerating dual talent training model, which has been greatly affirmed by vocational schools nationwide. Gao Ju promised that SPA and BASF will meticulously implement the training project and ensure the orderly training procedure. He sincerely hoped that all the trainees will master more theoretical knowledge and practical skills, promote their sense of safety, team cooperation, standardization and professionalism in the 3-week training.
Chen Wansuo extended heartfelt thanks to SPA for its firm support for BASF Chemical Operator Summer Camp project. Meanwhile, he shared his understanding of success with the trainees present. Success doesn't mean the possession of property. It stands for tenacity, tolerance, professionalism and excellent reading ability. Chen Wansuo expected the trainees to cherish the platform established by BASF and SPA, make full use of the learning opportunity, better their tenacity, tolerance, professionalism, learning and understanding abilities and finally promote comprehensive quality.
Zhang Peng, Class Teacher of 2019 BASF Chemical Operator Summer Camp, gave a detailed introduction to courses, modules and class schedule of the summer camp.
At the opening ceremony, 2019 BASF summer camp trainees introduced themselves and expressed their expectations for the training. After the training, with the company of SPA leaders, the guests from BASF Chemicals Co., Ltd and 2019 BASF Chemicals Co., Ltd. visited Energy Partition, Centrifugal Pump Operation, Pipe Disassembly, Assembly and Debugging, etc. They also conducted discussions on Meister modules to seek corresponding points of Meister Certificate and enterprise standards.
At last, all the leaders and summer camp trainees took a group photo to wish for a complete success of 2019 BASF Chemical Operator Summer Camp.
