On the afternoon of Oct. 30, SANTONI Industrial Park Scholarship Award Ceremony & Opening Ceremony of the 3rd SANTONI International Class jointly organized by Shanghai Petrochemical Academy and Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd. were grandly held in SPA. The attendees include Andrea, VP Operation of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd., Li Changle, Chief Knowledge Officer of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd., Mark, HR Director of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd., Zhu Haihua, HR Supervisor of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd., Chen Lingyan, HR Manager, Shanghai Qiguan Knitting Machine Co., Ltd., Xu Dan, HR Manager, Shanghai Lanjian Electronic Control Equipment Machinery Co., Ltd., Lucy, Import and Export Manager of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd., Gao Ju, Principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Huang Hanjun, Vice Principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Du Haiyan, Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Relevant teachers from Electromechanical Department and General Administration Office of SPA and teachers and students of Santoni International Classes also attended the ceremony.
On behalf of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Gao Ju delivered a welcome speech. He said in his remarks that it has been the third year since SPA and Santoni established cooperation in cultivating talent, which is a new model of implementing the spirit of SPA’s development of the 13th five-year plan to deepen vocational education reform and foster vocational talent. In the past three years, the cooperation between SPA and Santoni has been deepened by co-constructing training room, co-organizing football matches, etc. Principal Gao Ju expected all the students of Santoni International Classes to keep in line with the times, grasp every opportunity, live up to the expectations of SPA and Santoni. He also sincerely hoped for win-win-win results of school, enterprise and society via cooperation.
Golden autumn is a harvest season. After one year’s hard work, some excellent students of the 1st and 2nd Santoni International Classes won SANTONI Industrial Park Scholarship. Huang Hanjun, vice principal of SPA, declared the winning name list of SANTONI Industrial Park Scholarship. He congratulated the students on their performance and expected the students to study harder to reward the enterprise and society as well. Wang Jiacheng from the 2nd Santoni International Class made a speech on behalf of all the students who won the scholarship this time. He said that the winning of scholarship was just a driving force. He will study harder, seize the chance presented by school and enterprise and make greater progress.
As VP Operation of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Andrea hailed the excellent school-running ability, faculty team and the fluent English of the student representatives. He expressed his full confidence in school-enterprise cooperation. Santoni has always been applying great importance to cultivating the core skills of enterprise personnel, because the cultivation of talent will greatly improve the competitiveness of the enterprise. He sincerely hoped that in the process of talent cultivation, related teaching and practice will be designed meticulously to cater to students’ features and demands, which will help the students grow healthfully and professionally.
Zhou Weiqian, class teacher of the 3rd Santoni International Class, pointed out enthusiastically that students should grasp the golden chance. She asked the students to have confidence, be disciplined and form good habits.
Yang Yulei from the new Santoni International Class had a speech as student representative. He promised to study hard to learn professional knowledge, to form good behavior and finally become a qualified Santoni employee.
In March, 2017, SPA and Santoni embarked on a path of cooperation by constructing the 1st Santoni International Class. Today, a new chapter is written. With the concerted efforts of both sides, school-enterprise cooperation will be bound to have more reciprocal fruitful results to boost the development of SPA and regional economy.
