On the morning of Oct, 27, 2019 "Nugget Cup" Electromechanical Equipment Installation and Commissioning Skills Competition concluded in Changzhou College of Information Technology. Jiang Junyi and An Jiahao from 171 Electromechanical Class 02 claimed the crown in the secondary vocational group on behalf of SPA contestants. As instructors, Yan Rongrong and Wang Fan, two teachers from Electromechanical Department of SPA, were awarded the title of "Excellent Instructors" of the competition.
The success comes from the joint efforts of instructors and student contestants. During the preparatory period of the competition, the school team meticulously analyzed the competition samples. Meanwhile, GuJiangsen, the winner of last year's competition, was invited to shared his experience and competition tips with this year's contestants, which aroused the confidence and resolution.
On Oct. 18, SPA team went to Changzhou to participate in the pre-competition training. During the training, they showed advantage over others.
On the morning of Oct. 26, the competition kicked off officially. With wonderful collaboration and psychological quality, they won the first prize in the vocational school group.
The competition provides an excellent platform for exchanges, where contestants can learn from each other, make progress and benefit a lot together.
Although the competition has concluded, the team of SPA isn't self-satisfied. The instructors and the student contestants summarized and analyzed the problems emerging in the competition. By profoundly rethinking the process of the competition, students have had a clearer idea of their shortcomings and thus helped to lay a solid foundation for future improvement in skills.
