On the morning of Oct. 26, 2019, Shanghai selective trial of Water Treatment Technology Project of the 46th World Skills Competition kicked off in Shanghai Environment Science School. 12 excellent contestants from Shanghai EnvironmentScience School, Shanghai City Construction Engineering School, Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College and Shanghai Petrochemical Academy took part in the selective trail.
This is the first time for SPA to participate in the competition, which is composed of Module A and Module B. During the preparatory period for the competition, 3 contestants of SPA and their instructors sacrificed a lot of their leisure time in exploring feasible experimental conditions.
Chen Jiamei won the 3rd prize while Xia Yang and Ding Houjun were ranked the 6th and the 7th respectively. Although there were regrets, the hard training left an unforgettable impression on all the contestants and the fighting spirit will lead them to make more breakthroughs in their future vocational career.
