On Dec 27, leaders and experts of supervisory office of Jinshan Education Bureau, led by Lu Wenyuan, deputy Party secretary of Jinshan Education Institute, made an inspection tour to Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Principal Gao Ju and Vice Principal Huang Hanjun received the experts warmly.
With the company of SPA leaders, the experts visited School History Museum of SPA, Chemical Industry and Human Science Exhibition Hall, Cross-enterprise Training Center, Numerical Control Training Building and Chemical Training Building to grasp a clear knowledge of SPA's development process, students' learning and training, etc. They highly praised the great achievements SPA has made.
At the meeting, Gao Ju introduced SPA featuring SPA's basic information, priorities, school-running characteristics, etc., especially emphasizing the continuous school-enterprise cooperation, production-education integration, professional internationalization construction and special work of vocational education which differs from general education, such as organizing National Skills Contest.
Lu wenyuan noted that SPA persists in the path of school-enterprise cooperation and internationalization of specialties. SPA, which applies theory & practice combination to cultivate students, is a modern vocational school. Lu Wenyuan thought he has a deeper insight into the present priorities and development direction of vocational education. He expects SPA to fully tap its advantages and better vocational education.
