For strengthening communication and liaison, pushing forward the sound development of chemical industry and vocational education, SPA held the 2019 Annual Meeting of AHK（China）Chemical Construction Steering Committee in the multi-funtional hall on January 17. Mr. Cheng Xiaorong, project manager of AHK vocational education, Mr. Gao Ju, principal of SPA, Mr. Huang Hanjun, vice principal of SPA and other leaders and representatives from vocational schools and enterprises attended the meeting.
On the outset, Mr. Gao Ju, on behalf of AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base, expressed a hearty welcome to all the distinguished guests. He reported the work of 2019 and the plan of 2020 in the meeting. He said that over the past year, the site has continued to optimize AHK standards, develop ability and adopt Meister Certificate standards, and conduct teacher’s performance training in alliance schools. The site has advanced vigorously the construction of the site from six aspects. Great progress has been made in these fields. In the coming year, the site will cooperate with AHK alliance schools, redouble its effort to implement the Meister workshop team leader training, develop jointly the training materials and working log, prompt AHK local and school-base curriculum, and build the test question database for the graduation examination of chemical technologists. The site will advance professional construction in the chemical industry from eight aspects.
Mr. Chen Xiaorong, on behalf of AHK, promised that AHK would support the work of the AHK（China）Chemical Construction Steering Committee, seize the opportunities presented by the various policies adopted by China and Germany, enhance the exchange and cooperation in the chemical schools or professions in China and abroad. He hoped that the parties would learn from each other and harness each other’s advantages, and contributed wisdom and force for the development of national chemical vocational education.
During the meeting, five committee members were added into the AHK（China）Chemical Construction Steering Committee, they are from the Dongying Vocational Institute, Changshu Riverside Vocational School, Zhangjiang Technician College, Evonik Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and INOV Group. Mr. Chen Xiaorong, on behalf of AHK, awarded the Employment Certificate to the newly added. The committee also reviewed and approved the syllabus, test plan and teaching schedule of the AHK Meister Class.
The AHK（China）Chemical Construction Steering Committee, built and led by AHK, is an important part of the Sino-German Vocational Education Committee. It is also a pillar of AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base. The committee devotes to pushing forward the exchange and cooperation in chemical industry vocational education and joint education in both countries based on German standards on the chemical industry. It aims to improve the education quality in the chemical industry vocational education. The successful opening of the 2019 Annual Meeting of AHK（China）Chemical Construction Steering Committee will consolidate the cooperation and exchange between SPA and AHK, chemical industry and peers, and provide strong support for the leap forward of SPA.
