In order to improve emergency management capability and to promote enterprise safety level, on May 13, a six-member group led by Zhou Qiming, director of Pinghu Emergency Management Bureau, Wu Jianming, deputy director of Pinghu Emergency Management Bureau, Zhang Xiaosong, deputy director of Pinghu Education Bureau, Yao Yan, principal of Pinghu Vocational Secondary School visited Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Xu Feng, director of Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau, Zheng Ying, director of Jinshan Education Bureau and Gao Ju, principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy met with the guests.
Zhou Qiming and his group visited School History Museum, Cross-enterprise Training Center and Chemical Engineering Building. The advanced school-running philosophy, clear thinking on running the school, complete training facility and orderly and safe training management impressed the visitors deeply.
At the meeting room on the first floor of the Chemical Engineering Building, further exchanges and communication were conducted. Zheng Ying said that Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, a renowned name card of vocational education, has been contributing to training technical personnel and promoting social-economic development. At present, SPA is actively preparing for the declaration and building of Shanghai Chemical Vocational Technology College to fill the social demands of high quality technical personnel.
Gao Ju introduced Shanghai Petrochemical Academy featuring basic information, school-running strategies and future prospects, especially the achievements on school-enterprise cooperation and internationalization which have been made so far.
Xu Feng introduced the cooperation between Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau and Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. In order to better implement the spirit of <the Implementation Proposals on High-risk Industry Safety Skills Improvement Action Plan>, Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau made a decision to cooperate with Shanghai Petrochemical Academy which has complete training facility and resources and excellent faculty. At present, both sides are proactively accelerating the building of Shanghai Emergency Management Examination Training and Drill Integrated Base and meticulously making preparations for the 1st Jinshan Hazardous Chemicals Industry Safety Skills Competition.
Zhou Qiming noted that this inspection tour enabled them to know more about SPA's strategies such as school-running and safety management. Shanghai Petrochemical Academy boasts advanced philosophy, strong faculty and efficient post-vocational training. Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau takes various measures to implement the spirit of <the Implementation Proposals on High-risk Industry Safety Skills Improvement Action Plan>. Pinghu Emergency Management Bureau will ordinate with Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau to continuously promote enterprises’ safety level.
Zhang Xiaosong said that Shanghai Petrochemical Academy and Pinghu Vocational Secondary School have had fine cooperation for many years. With the strong support of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Pinghu Vocational Secondary School is actively introducing AHK International Vocational Qualification Capability Certificate. It is sincerely hoped that both schools will deepen cooperation to win common development.
