On May 19, a 5-member team led by Gao Ju, principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, visited Zeeco (China) Engineering and Equipment Co., Ltd. Ma Yuan, general manager of Zee China, Wang Wentao, operation director, Guan Rongfang, HR manager and Lin Fang, financial manager met with Gao Ju and his group warmly. Both sides had exchanges and communication on school-enterprise cooperation and education-industry integration.
Ma Yuan extended sincere welcome to Gao Ju’s coming. After watching Zeeco’s promotion video, Ma Yuan introduced Zeeco China’s general situation. Since the official opening of the office and the factory of Zeeco (China) Engineering and Equipment Co., Ltd. in September, 2019, personnel has been deployed and facilities been equipped, so the company is entering a rapid development stage. During the first quarter of 2020, Zeeco takes deep root in the fertile manufacturing soil of China against the downturn global economy, expands its factory construction and creates new sales performance record. With the fast development of Zeeco China, the company is also facing some talent bottlenecks, especially the urgent demand of first line operators. Ma Yuan expected that Zeeco China will have lasting and targeted talent cultivation and reserve via school-enterprise cooperation.
Gao Ju said that this visit aims to enhance the understanding of personnel demand of Zeeco China. Through school-enterprise cooperation and education-industry integration, both sides can build long-term close cooperative relationship to foster a batch of high-quality first line technicians and operators and to achieve common development. Gao Ju also introduced SPA’s school-enterprise cooperation experience in jointly running the school. SPA has been introducing international advanced vocational education philosophy and teaching methods to deepen school-enterprise cooperation and education-industry integration and to accelerate the building of internationalization. The quality of the personnel cultivated by SPA has been improved greatly, so they are greatly welcomed by enterprises and the society.
With the company of Wang Wentao and Guan Rongfang, Gao Ju and his group visited the plants of Zeeco (China) Engineering and Equipment Co., Ltd. This visit reinforces mutual understanding; both sides reached consensus on cooperation field. They will accelerate cooperation in areas like signing cooperation framework, setting up Zeeco Class, arranging students’ internship and employing enterprise’s experts as lecturers to guarantee the talent reserve for the sustainable and stable development of Zeeco China.
