On June 25, 2020 Graduation Ceremony & AHK Chemical Vocational Qualification Certification Ceremony was grandly held in SPA. The attendees are Mr. Wilhelm Dittrich, Director of AHK Shanghai Recruitment, Training & Vocational Education, Ms. Chen Liwei, Deputy Director of AHK Shanghai Vocational Education, Mr. Chen Wansuo, Director of Operations of BASF Chemicals Co., Ltd., Dr. Ji Wenbin, Vice President of Covestro Integrated Site Shanghai, Ms. Li Xiaoqiu, Recruitment Specialist of Covestro Integrated Site Shanghai, Mr. Gao Ju, Principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Mr. Lin Guoxin, Party Secretary of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Mr. Huang Hanjun, Vice Principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Ms. Du Haiyan, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of Students’ Affairs Office, etc. 679 graduates watched the live graduation ceremony.
At the ceremony, Lin Guoxin announced the list of 23 excellent interns and 21 excellent graduates. Huang Hanjun announced the list of 36 students of AHK Chemical Vocational Qualification Certificates.
Mr. Wilhelm Dittrich delivered a speech at the ceremony. He noted that in the past five years, the demonstration project which AHK Shanghai and Shanghai Petrochemical Academy have joined hands to build has become a lighthouse project. It has contributed a lot to the marvelous development of economy and society of both countries. The construction of AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base not only serves the interests of German and Chinese enterprises but also provides an excellent platform for the improvement of strength of faculty and growth of young people. So far, it has increasing influence on more projects in greater stretches of areas.
Gao Ju said that it is the first time that leaders from AHK and enterprises are invited to attend the graduation ceremony. AHK Vocational Qualification Certificate that the students of the Covestro Class and the BASF Class have obtained is also unprecedented in SPA’s school-running history. SPA has been developing quickly with the joint efforts of teachers and students, enterprises and society. Gao Ju expected graduates to become a man of integrity, kindness, ideality and tenacity.
Dai Yujie, student representative from 171 Business English Class, gave a speech on behalf of all the graduates. She extended sincere thanks to teachers and students and expressed great wishes for future work and life. Zhao Yan extended beautiful expectations for bright future of all the graduates in her speech on behalf of all teachers of SPA.
For all 2020 graduates, this is a totally new journey to be unfolded. SPA expects all of you to meet with all challenges with right attitude and strong tenacity and to embrace your own life confidently.
