From July 9 to 14, 2020, Shanghai Petrochemical Academy successfully held the 3rd AHK Chemical Technologist Qualification Certification Examination (Graduation Exam 1) and the 2nd AHK Chemical Technologist Qualification Certification Examination (Graduation Exam 2) at AHK Sino-German Vocational Training Base, which symbolizes the birth of the second batch of AHK Chemical Technologist Occupational Qualification Certificates.
AHK Chemical Technologist Qualification Certification Examination tests comprehensive knowledge and skills, which examines students’ breadth of professionalism and comprehensive application ability. 149 students from SPA took the AHK exam this time. AHK German Industry and Commerce Greater China appointed examiners to SPA to monitor and give guidance to the exam, which is strictly organized and implemented according to the standards of German AHK Occupational Qualification Certification Examination.
From July 7 to July 8, at the AHK training room of AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base, trainers gave pre-exam safety education to all the examinees, which they should carefully bear in mind.
On the morning of July 9th, the theoretical exam of "Production Technique" and "Process Control Technique" were carried out at AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base. Gao Ju, chairman of AHK Chemical Construction Steering Committee and group leader of AHK examiners, monitored the exam scene in person.
From the noon of July 9 to July 14, the practice exam of "Basic Operation of Technology", "Control and Adjustment Technique" and "Equipment Maintenance" were carried out consequently in batches.
In order to meet the needs of chemical industry, many chemical enterprises make 24-hour production operation. Five exams of "Basic Operation of Technology" were arranged in the evening in line with the feature of night shift employees always make. All examinees, examiners, teachers, and working staff stick to their own posts and meticulously fulfill their duties.
From July 11 to July 14, theoretical graduation exam 1 of "Technology Technique", "Measurement Technique" and "Equipment Technique" and practical exam of "Basic Operation of Technology and Production", "Measurement Technique" and "Equipment Technique Assembly" were carried out at AHK Sino-German Vocational Training Base. All the test question database was guided by experts from renowned chemical enterprises and collaborated by SPA teachers, the content and the form of which cater to the practical production of enterprise and international advanced standards, so the test question database is highly recognized by AHK Chemical Construction Examination Committee.
AHK exam focuses on process assessment, which not only tests students’ vocational capability but also pays close attention to students’ vocational professionalism.
