On the morning of July 26th, Fu Weizong, Chairman of School Council of Central Vocational School of Shouguang and Hu Ping, Vice Chairman of School Council of Central Vocational School of Shouguang visited Shanghai Petrochemical Academy to discuss the issues concerning the cooperation of chemical vocational education. Gao Ju, Principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Huang Hanjun, Vice Principal, attended the meeting. Also present were teachers from relevant departments of SPA.
At the meeting, Gao Ju introduced SPA’s successful experience in production-education integration and internationalization and shared SPA’s current priorities on behalf of SPA. Fu Weizong extended sincere thanks to SPA for the warm reception and highly hailed SPA’s outstanding achievements in chemical vocational education. He shared the unremitting effort to improve vocational education reform and management that School Council of Central Vocational School of Shouguang has taken. It is sincerely expected that deep cooperation will be strengthened to substantially boost vocational education and contribute to regional economy. Leaders from both sides had heated and efficient discussion and exploration in vocational education development philosophy, effective methods of school-enterprise cooperation and innovative building of internationalization of specialties, etc. They reached a series of consensus on further cooperation fields to practically advance cooperation and communication between the two schools.
Prior to the meeting, Fu Zongwei and Hu Ping visited School History Museum, Chemical Industry and Human Science Exhibition Hall, Cross-enterprise Training Center and Chemical Engineering Training Building. Fu Zongwei inquired about SPA’s school-enterprise cooperation and internationalization and learned more about the operation and management of AHK Sino-German Chemical Training Base.
