On August 28, at 2020 Jinshan Science and Technology Festival, "Jinshan Innovation Forum"——Green Chemical Industry Development Forum is held in Haikuo Dongan Cultural Park successfully. The forum, which is themed as Science & Technology Innovation and Green Development, is aimed to strengthen the scientific propaganda of chemical advanced technology and new material research and development and promotion. The forum is presided over by Gao Ju, chairman of Jinshan Petroleum and Chemical Society and principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Teachers from Chemical Engineering Department and relevant departments of SPA attended the activity.
At the forum summit, Shi Bi, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhu Meifang, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dr. Yang Weijiang, Senior Technical Expert of Coating Materials Business Section of Dow Chemical China Ltd., Dr. Lu Wenzhi, General Manager of Shanghai Pujing Chemical New Materials Ltd., were invited to make themed speeches on how to transform and upgrade Shanghai Petroleum and Chemical Industry, pool strength and resources, explore new thoughts, ways and strategies, respectively.
The forum is a main implementation of the theme of 2020 Jinshan Science and Technology Festival, which is also a vivid demonstration of strongly disseminating scientific spirit, promoting collaboration of science and technology innovation and popularization of scientific knowledge and accelerating the construction of the significant bearing area of Shanghai scientific innovation center. The forum is guided by Jinshan Science Technology Committee and Jinshan Science Technology Association and hosted by Jinshan Petroleum and Chemical Society. 200 representatives attended the forum.
