On Sept. 22, in order to better implement Jinshan hazardous chemicals industry occupational safety and health protection work, fortify occupational health and safety awareness in hazardous chemicals industry and eliminate accidents and occupational diseases, 2020 “Xingong Safety” Occupational Safety and Health Protection “Toolkit” Launching Ceremony is held in SPA. Cao Guan, vice chairman of Jinshan Federation of Trade Unions, Wang Mingyi, deputy general manager of Shanghai Jinshan No. 2 Industrial Park Development Co., LTD, Yu Danqun, deputy director of Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau, Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy attended the activity.
This activity is hosted by Jinshan Federation of Trade Unions and Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau, assisted by Jinshan No. 2 Industrial Park Development Co., LTD and organized by Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Leaders of labor union and heads in charge of safe production from 20 enterprises in Jinshan took part in the activity.
During the ceremony, five experts from enterprises and SPA were presented Toolkit expert certificates. They will provide professional solutions to occupational safety and health protection for enterprises.
During the speeches of enterprise representatives, Liang Hui from Sinopec Logistics Co., Ltd and Wang Jinhui from Huajie Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd made themed speeches respectively to introduce their improvement after participating in the Toolkit project. Both of them provided constructive enlightening suggestions and valuable experience for all the enterprises present.
Lin Guoxin made a welcome speech on behalf of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. He sincerely extended gratitude to the firm and strong support for school development. He pledged that SPA will seriously implement the project with all the enterprises, guarantee the orderly development of the Toolkit project, further advance the work of occupational safety and health protection and boost the healthful building of Jinshan.
At last, Cao Guan put forward three demands——improving awareness to enhance the responsibility sense of Toolkit project, enhancing influence of the project, and making targeted efforts to strengthen the effectiveness. Only by strictly carrying out the Toolkit can we substantially protect health and life of employees, improve safe production of enterprises and advance the harmonious and stable development of the society.
According to the implementation project of 2020 “Xingong Safety” Occupational Safety and Health Protection “Toolkit”, 20 Jinshan hazardous chemicals enterprises will adopt online and offline training method, attend live online lectures, take theory-practice integrated practical training, make field trips to enterprises and find solutions to tricky problems to fully assess occupational safety and health protection of enterprises, help them to solve problems, eliminate occupational hazards, improve working environment and employees’ efficiency, reduce accidents and related occupational diseases, and eventually beef up the sustainable and healthy development of regional economy.
