On Sept. 24, Ma Jianchao, director of Vocational Education Office of Shanghai Education Commission and Ma Jun came to Jinshan and made an inspection tour to Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Zheng Ying, director of Jinshan Education Bureau, Wu Ying, deputy director of Jinshan Education Bureau, Gao Ju, principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Lin Guoxin, Party secretary of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Jin Siyun, principal of Shanghai Food Science and Technology School accompanied the inspection tour.
Ma Jianchao and Ma Jun visited School History Museum, Cross-enterprise Training Center, Numerical Control Open Training Center and Chemical Engineering Training Building to know more about SPA's school-running history, operation and management of training rooms, preparatory work of special operation certification site, etc.
Zheng Ying extended welcome to Ma Jianchao's coming and expressed sincere gratitude to Vocational Education Office of Shanghai Education Commission for the strong support and care for the development of Jinshan vocational education. She introduced related issues concerning the higher vocational college.
Gao Ju made a themed speech "Deepening Production-Education Integration, Building the Cradle of Craftsman Spirit" on school-running strategies and major achievements in cultivating highly skilled personnel and issues concerning declaring higher vocational college, establishing hazardous chemicals industry safety training and demonstration base and special operations examination site. Ji Siyun gave a speech named "Forging ahead; Innovating to Breakthrough; Making Scientific Development" to introduce Shanghai Food Science and Technology School from several aspects.
Ma Jianchao pointed out that both schools have distinctive features and highlights, which showcases the emphasis Jinshan has put on vocational education and the firm support for it. It is expected that both school will advance production-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation to better serve the development of regional economy, design the 14th Five-Year Plan and seek for a new round of high-quality development. Ma Ju put forward suggestions on specific issues on the declaration work of the new higher vocational college.
