On the afternoon Oct. 28, Santoni Industry Park Scholarship Award Ceremony and the 4th Santoni International Class Opening Ceremony was grandly held in SPA with the joint efforts of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy and Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd.
The attendees are Mr. Andrea, VP Operation of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd., Li Changle, Chief Knowledge Officer, Li Weijin, CEO of Process Control and Review, Mr. Alessandro Parizzi, Senior Audit Management CEO, Wang Bailian, HR Director, and leaders from Shanghai Qiguan Knitting Machine Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Lanjian Electronic Control Equipment Machinery Co., Ltd, Gao Ju, Principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy and Du Haiyan, Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Yu Jie, Branch Party Secretary of Electromechanical Department of SPA.
Prior to the ceremony, leaders of both sides recalled the cooperation together in the past four years. The current dual talent cultivation of students, teachers’ practice, employees’ training, assessment of standardization of posts, co-building of Party activities, employees’ activities, etc., are full acknowledged by both sides. They also exchanged ideas and views on future deepening diversified and comprehensive cooperation.
At 1 p.m., the ceremony officially started. Gao Ju made a welcome speech for the opening ceremony. He extended thanks to all the leaders and guests present and warm congratulations to all the students who have won the awards. Gao Ju introduced the remarkable achievements SPA has made in the past year, especially the implementation of talent cultivation dual standards which caters to the international standards, the advance of AHK international cooperation, Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Practical Training Demonstration Base and Shanghai Safe Production Qualification Test (Hazardous Chemicals) Examination Site, etc. Gao Ju briefly reviewed the close cooperation between SPA and Santoni since 2017. Four international Santoni Classes have been set up and 143 students with high-quality skills have been fostered. Meanwhile, phased results have been achieved one after another in the building of Production-Education Joint Training Room, training of teachers and employees, co-building of branch Party activities, etc. Gao Ju sincerely expected that the teachers of Santoni International Class will try their best to cultivate talent with scientific management and meticulous teaching.
Du Haiyan declared the winning name list of Santoni Industry Park Scholarship. Leaders from Santoni Industry Park presented awards to the students. Zhang Jiamin, student representative from 191 Electromechanical Class promised that all the students will try to be a qualified Santoni employee with the help and care from school and enterprise.
Through selection and interview, the 4th Santoni International Class constitutes 36 students. Tang Dongmei, head teacher of both the 1st Santoni International Class and the 4th Santoni International Class, said that during the course of cultivation and management of the students, she saw the continuous innovative spirit, harmonious corporate culture of Santoni. She thanked part-time teacher from Santoni for creating such a learning platform for the students and expected all the students to make great efforts to become towering trees.
At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Andrea delivered a speech on behalf of Santoni. He noted that this is the third time that he has attended the opening ceremony of Santoni International Class. Many fruitful results have been achieved in the cooperation and there is still more to expect. He proposed that all the students should make clear expectations and plans for their studies and life and Santoni is ready to welcome the joining of all the qualified graduates.
With the joint efforts of school and enterprise, the cooperation between Shanghai Petrochemical Academy and Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd. has been deepened and broadened. The achievements made in the past four years reflect not only the joint efforts made but also the foundation for the future cooperation. The projects being carried out calls for more sincere cooperation to write a new chapter for school-enterprise cooperation in vocational education.
