On the afternoon of Oct. 27, 2020, Hanbell Scholarship Award Ceremony & the 3rd Hanbell International Class Opening Ceremony were grandly held in the Conference Center in SPA. The attendees included Zhou Quanhong, Vice President of Production & Engineering Dept. of Hanbell, Qi Yue, HR Specialist of Management Dept. of Hanbell, Gao Ju, Principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, Huang Hanjun, Vice Principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, leaders from the Electromechanical Department and the General Administration Office of SPA and teachers and students from the Hanbell International Classes. The ceremony was presided over by Lu Juan, vice director of the Electromechanical Department of SPA.
Gao Ju pointed out in his remarks that as a key state-level secondary vocational school, school-enterprise cooperation is the inevitable, innovative and prosperous course for reform and development of vocational schools. The model of enterprise-named class aims to integrate the environment and resources of school and enterprise, to fully foster students' professionalism and skills and to accomplish the mutual benefits of school and enterprise. Gao Ju sincerely expected the students of the 3rd Hanbell International Class to study hard, practice meticulously, keep teacher' expectations in mind and lay a solid foundation for obtaining AHK Vocational Certificates.
Huang Hanjun declared the winning name list of the Hanbell scholarship. The leaders of Hanbell presented the certificates to those students.
Gu Hongchi, on behalf of the scholarship winners, said that the scholarship means a lot to them. It is not only an affirmation of the past performance but also a new expectation for the future. This is a new start, glory and responsibility.
Qi Yue said in his speech that they will combine SPA's school-running strength and Hanbell's equipment and talent system advantages to give full play to school-enterprise cooperation.
With the concerted efforts of SPA and Hanbell, the 3rd Hanbell International Class was successfully set up. Wang Xingyu, student representative of the new Hanbell Class, promised to obey the school regulations and rules, help and learn from each other, grasp theoretical knowledge and operation skills to become an excellent Hanbell employee in the near future.
Li Weiming, head teacher of the 3rd Hanbell International Class, promised that all the teachers will care for every student's growth. He expected all the students to have a brighter future.
At last, Zhou Quanhong gave a brief introduction to the development of Hanbell and expounded on the developmental plans of Hanbell. He said that the students have chosen the right specialty and right class. They are expected to study harder and join the Hanbell community in future.
The school-enterprise cooperation full exerts the advantages of SPA and Hanbell. The SPA & Hanbell model will cultivate more high quality technical personnel welcomed by school, enterprise and society.
