On March 4, 2021, Lin Zhenyu, general secretary of China Hazardous Chemicals Warehousing and Distribution Industry Association, visited Shanghai Petrochemical Academy in a bid to explore the development of chemical vocational education and training, accompanied by Miao Yong, deputy director of Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau. Principal Gao Ju and teachers from related departments attended this activity.
As a branch of China Warehousing and Distribution Industry Association, China Hazardous Chemicals Warehousing and Distribution Industry Association plays its role in assisting relevant government departments to emphasize the management work of hazardous chemicals warehousing and distribution and in studying and formulating relative policies, rules and standards. Lin Zhenyu and his group visited SPA's Chemical Engineering Training Building to know about the construction of the training base, especially the features like production-education combination and training-education integration.
At the meeting, Lin Zhenyu briefly introduced the basic information of China Hazardous Chemicals Warehousing and Distribution Industry Association and expressed fine expectations for further cooperation. Miao Yong shared experience of cooperation between school and government and training of employees of hazardous chemicals enterprises aimed to improve their safety skills and consciousness. Both sides exchanges their views on development of courses and standards, pre-service education and employees' training etc. amid the production and management of hazardous chemicals and reached consensus on future methods, which contributes to a firm foundation for further implementation of cooperation.
