In a bid to further consolidate cooperation and communication of vocational education in the Yangtze River Delta and advance school-enterprise cooperation and production-education combination in the field of Sino-German chemical vocational education, on March 16, 2021, a 4-person group led by Yang Yanhong, vice principal of Changshu Riverside Vocational School, visited Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Gao Ju, principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy, met with the visitors warmly.
Yang Yanhong and her group visited Chemical Engineering Training Building and Cross-enterprise Training Center to learn about the construction of AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base and Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Demonstration Base. They applauded the strategies of promoting internationalization SPA has adopted to proactively serve regional economic development.
At the meeting, Gao Ju shared SPA's experience in developing cultivation plan of training chemical talent, vocational qualification standard, materials, etc. He put forward suggestions that full research should be conducted to completely understand the demands of enterprises and training for teachers should be reinforced to improve teachers' dual talent cultivation ability. Both sides also exchanged views on talent cultivation plan, certification, etc.
