On May 14, Sheng Wei, Party Secretary and Director of Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau, Li Shaotang, Deputy Director of Dangerous Chemical Division of Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, Zhang Wenfu, Director of Safety Supervision Division of Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone, Kang Hui, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Enterprises Association, Miao Yong, Deputy Director of Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau, and other related leaders visited Shanghai Petrochemical Academy to conduct research on speeding up the training of dangerous chemical safety skills, accompanied by Principal Gao Ju and Vice Principal Huang Hanjun.
Accompanied by Huang Hanjun, Sheng Wei and his party visited the Cross-enterprise Training Center of the school, the Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Demonstration Base and the AHK Sino-German Chemical Vocational Training Base, inspected the practical training of students and the safety training of enterprise employees on the spot, and learned about the construction and operation of Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Demonstration Base and Shanghai Safety Production Qualification Examination (Dangerous Chemicals) Test Center.
In the meeting room on the first floor of the Chemical Comprehensive Training Building, the two sides had further exchanges. Gao Ju introduced the school from three aspects: school profile, school-running measures and development prospects with a PPT named 'Deepening the Integration of Industry & Education and Creating the Cradle of Artisan Spirit'. The school has set up AHK Sino-German chemical vocational training base in order to improve its quality, and draw lessons from Germany's dual talent training model to form a localized dual talent training standard. Government and schools joined hands, combined education and training, carried out all kinds of staff training, hosted occupational safety skills competition in hazardous chemicals industry in Jinshan District, and established Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Demonstration Base.
Sheng Wei said that the school has advanced school-running concepts, distinctive school-running characteristics and abundant teachers. The school actively undertakes the safety skills training for employees in the hazardous chemical industry in Jinshan District, with a strong sense of active service, a high ideological position and initial results. It is hoped that the school will think deeply and plan carefully, combine the professional qualification standards of AHK chemical industry in Germany with the actual situation of chemical safety production in China, continuously improve the training system, optimize the training content and further enhance the quality and effect of training.
Li Shaotang fully affirmed the school's efforts and achievements in safety skills training for employees in hazardous industries, and hoped that the school would constantly innovate its school-running philosophy, improve its service level, base itself on Jinshan District, radiate chemical industries on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay, such as Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone, Shanghai Petrochemical Company and Shanghai Fengxian Chemical Industry Zone, and make greater contributions to improving the safety skills of employees in hazardous industries.
Focusing on how to further improve the training of special operators and how to improve the safety literacy of employees in hazardous industries, the participating parties conducted in-depth exchanges.
This visit has pointed out the direction for our school to further promote the construction of Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Demonstration Base under the new situation, which is conducive to the school to give full play to the role of demonstration radiation, fill the shortcomings of safety quality of employees in high-risk industries, and make contributions to the sustainable improvement of the regional dangerous chemicals production situation.
