On November 3rd, the Award Ceremony of Yanfeng Visteon Scholarship for the 2021-2022 Academic Year was held in the Multi-functional hall of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. Ji Manqin, Party Secretary of Yanfeng Visteon Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., and Gao Ju, Principal of Shanghai Petrochemical Academy attended the meeting. Related comrades of relevant departments of both the school and the enterprise, as well as all award-winning students, participated in the activity.
In his speech, Gao Ju reviewed the cooperation process and outstanding achievements between the school and Yanfeng Visteon Company, and expressed his gratitude to the enterprise for attaching importance to the training of high-quality technical personnel. He hoped that the students would cherish the honor, combine theory with practice, be grateful to the society and serve the motherland. Deeper and more solid cooperation between the school and the enterprise in the future is expected.
On behalf of the company, Ji Manqin thanked the school for its long-term support in school-enterprise cooperation, shared the outstanding achievements of school graduates in the process of the company's development, and emphasized the unswerving initial intention of setting up scholarships to encourage students to grow into talents. Two students spoke respectively, expressing their sincere gratitude for the concern from the company and the school, and promised to live up to expectations and study hard, and tried to be excellent students, hardworking employees and civilized citizens.
Since 2011, our school has cooperated with Yanfeng Visteon Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. in personnel training, and has trained nearly 100 outstanding graduates for the company. Adhering to the high sense of social responsibility, the company has specially set up the Yanfeng Visteon Scholarship in Shanghai Petrochemical Academy to award excellence and promote learning, which has been held annually for 8 consecutive years so far. At this scholarship award ceremony, 35 students were awarded this year.
