On October 24th, our school held an enlarged study session of the theoretical study core group of the Party Committee of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College in the Multi-functional Hall. Members of the theoretical study core group of the Party Committee and department leaders attended the meeting. Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of the school, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Gao Ju pointed out that it is the key work of the school to persistently promote education informatization and build our school into a benchmark school featuring the application of education informatization in Shanghai. Taking it as a special topic of the theoretical study core group of the Party Committee shows the importance and urgency of this work. It is imperative to further highlight the leading role of the Party Committee's theoretical study core group in learning, so as to address problems, and promote the development of school reform and construction. Gao Ju emphasized that the work should be guided by General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on education informatization, and the modernization of school governance capacity should be promoted by education informatization. We should enhance our political position and strengthen our ideological understanding. It is also necessary to strengthen coordinated promotion and pursue pragmatic results. We should have a good command of working principles and focus on characteristics.
Huang Hanjun, member of the Party Committee and Vice President, gave a lecture. He further clarified that the main work of Shanghai Education Informatization Application Benchmark School is to integrate fragmented information, combine data, expand functions and form systems. He accurately pointed out the problems in the process of the advance of the program, answered the puzzles and questions, and put forward the work measures and other supporting measures of advancing in an all-round way, improving basic data, ensuring the operation of the system, and focusing on characteristic highlights. On the compilation of teaching cases, Huang Hanjun explained it in simple terms, and stressed that the cases should be distinctive.
Chen Xiaobin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president, stressed that education informatization should be promoted in a continued and normalized way with persistent efforts. Heads of all departments should think more about "what should we do" and "what can we do". We should carry out our work from the perspective of mutual appreciation and with a responsible attitude. It is necessary to strengthen study and improve ideological understanding. At the meeting, other members of the school Party Committee, and department leaders of Graphic Information Center, General Administration Office, Student Affairs Office, Academic Affairs Office, Personnel Office and other departments made exchange speeches.
