In order to further explore the mechanism of school-enterprise cooperation and school-school cooperation and to promote the high-quality development of vocational education, on February 27th, a 21-person team led by Mei Song, vice president of Guizhou Industry Polytechnic College, visited our school. Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, and Yan Xiaoli, vice president, warmly received the guests.
Gao Ju welcomed the guests from afar. He shared the school-running characteristics from four aspects: school-enterprise cooperation and production-education integration, benchmarking international standards to improve quality, cooperation between government and school and combination of education and training, special breakthroughs and leading projects. He also introduced the construction objectives, characteristics, professional layout and construction tasks of the school.
Mei Song introduced the situation of Guizhou Industry Polytechnic College from the aspects of school history, specialty setting and student training. Mei Song said that the two schools have a lot in common in terms of specialty settings. The school-running way featuring school-enterprise cooperation, joint efforts of government and school, and international cooperation that Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College has embarked on are of great significance in terms of reference. He hopes to cooperate with our school and jointly improve the level of running the school.
Mei Song and his team visited the School History Museum, the Exhibition Hall of Chemical Industry and Human Science Popularization, the Cross-enterprise Training Center, the Numerical Control Open Training Center and the Chemical Industry Comprehensive Practical Training Building to learn more about the training equipment, the development of students' training courses and the training of enterprise employees.
