On March 8th, Wang Weiguo, Director of the Research Center of Emergency Management Ministry, came to our school to inspect the work of Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Demonstration Base, accompanied by Yu Danqun, Deputy Director of Jinshan District Emergency Management Bureau, and Gao Ju, Secretary of the Party Committee of our school.
Director Wang Weiguo and his team came to our school's Cross-enterprise Training Center, Chemical Comprehensive Training Building, Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Demonstration Base and other places for on-the-spot inspection to learn more about the operation of the base and the training of enterprise employees, and put forward opinions and suggestions for improvement and promotion.
Director Wang Weiguo said that the school actively leveraged the advantages of vocational education, took serving the regional economic development as its own responsibility, and played an important role in improving the skills of industrial workers and cultivating high-quality skilled talents. The practices and experience of the school have advanced vocational education concepts at home and abroad, and the training base is comprehensive, systematic and standardized in management. Director Wang Weiguo proposed that the two sides should strengthen communication and cooperation in academic discussions and policy research, improve the training base system, expand the influence of the training base, improve the effectiveness of training, and provide strong support for improving the safety skills of industrial workers and the safe and high-quality development of the chemical industry.
Gao Ju introduced the school from the aspects of school-running characteristics and specialty setting, focusing on the work of Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Demonstration Base and Shanghai Safety Production Qualification Examination (hazardous chemicals) Test Site.
