Sheng Wei, Director of Jinshan District Emergency Management Bureau, Visited Our School

On March 23rd, Sheng Wei, Director of Jinshan District Emergency Management Bureau, visited Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, and was warmly received by Gao Ju, Party Secretary of the college and Chen Xiaobin, President. The two sides held discussions and exchanges around the work of workplace safety production training and the construction of the new higher vocational college.

Gao Ju introduced the training of team leaders and new employees for chemical enterprises, the research of special operations training, and the construction of National Hazardous Safety Virtual Simulation Training Base. Gao Ju said that the school will take the new higher vocational college construction as an opportunity, make full use of all kinds of resources, boost the safety production of chemical enterprises and improve the safety skills of employees of chemical enterprises, and make contributions to the continuous improvement of regional hazardous safety production situation.

Chen Xiaobin introduced the construction of specialties of the new higher vocational college, hoping to strengthen cooperation with Jinshan District Emergency Management Bureau, continuously improve the level of running the school, and meet the demand of highly-skilled talents for the development of regional economy.

Sheng Wei said that since the establishment of Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Demonstration Base and Shanghai Safety Production Qualification Test Site (hazardous chemicals) in the school, the training and research work has been affirmed and recognized by the leaders of higher authorities and enterprises, which has won a good reputation for the school. Jinshan District Emergency Management Bureau will fully support the construction of safety emergency and other specialties in the new higher vocational college and jointly serve the emergency management in Jinshan District.

The two sides at the meeting conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on how to further improve the passing rate of hazardous chemicals special operations tests and the declaration of the major named Safety and Emergency Management.
